I just sent my collegeboard score report to ED today - is it late?

It's a day after the deadline (although the deadline has been extended to November 7th for those affected by the storm).

I completely forgot to send my score reports from collegeboard yesterday and sent them today.

Is it late? Will I not be considered?

Thank you.

No… The decisions are sent Dec 15th, that is a full month and a half for them to make a decision. You know, your application is not processed automatically, there are thousands who have sent in applications. The ones who turned everything in first gets priority I would assume.

Were you affected by the storm? If so, the collegeboard scores are fine.

If not, you’re probably still fine, since many colleges accept Nov scores for ED too, and the SATs are only sent once a week or so, so yesterday v. today might not make a difference.

Okay, but don’t they see the time stamp and notice I’ve sent it late?

Thanks for the first part of your answer though!

Your application needs to be in close to the deadline. People are often still considered ED/EA even if they miss the deadline by a day. Your supporting documents like test scores, recommendations, etc. often come in later and that is OK. Just keep an eye on what has been received and if you think you are missing something after November 15th, I would follow-up at that time.
