I JUST SPENT OVER $200 sending ACT scores!

I'm ready to explode. Over $200 just on my most recent score request, not to mention ones I haven't sent yet or any SAT score costs. I took the ACT twice and got the same score on it with some sections improving and others getting worse, so I took it one last time in Dec. to try and improve for colleges. Well. Dec. scores are up and I hadn't sent any tests to colleges in hopes that my Dec. would be the best and the only one I had to send.
WRONG!-scores still aren't up-Way to go ACT!
So I just rush reported my 2 old scores to 10 schools since ACT won't even be open to see my request until the 5th. And colleges need these scores by Jan 10 and 15.
I still haven't even paid for the Dec. ones which I will send if they are better!
UGH! I just paniced when I saw they wouldnt be open over the new years holiday and rush reported all of them cuz colleges need them and I can't call to verify anything w/ them since they arent open for the holidays either!!!

Someone please tell me they did something as stupid as me to cheer me up. I'm screwed! :(

Whoa that sucks. Thank goodness I was accepted at my ED school otherwise I would’ve had to do the exact same thing.

Had I not gotten into my first choice school I was planning on applying to 5 or 6 schools RD to which I had not yet sent ACT scores. Like you, I still don’t have my December scores unfortunately :(

my case is kinda similar to yours.

I completely forgot to send my act scores and yeah, the issues with the holidays came up. I realized this on around the 23rd of dec so i had about a week. I rush delivered all my ACT and SAT scores and that ended up costing a fortune (around 200-300 dollars). In addition, the application fees also add up! my gosh, it’s like 60-70 bucks a school!

so don’t feel bad, i didn’t pretty much the same thing. just cross ur fingers and hope the scores get to the schools on time!

hopefully your score was good enough that the schools will offer you big enough scholarships to cover that unfortunate expense!
