I just submitted my MIT App and it said Proceesed 1/2/07

And I accidentally didn't change the date when it automatically put in 1/2/07 but it's still 1/1!! (Here and in MA). Is this really really bad?

No... it's 1/2 in MA. Where do YOU live?

But they're probably okay with it.

EDIT: :) Hopefully MIT will be cool like Chicago and say that as long as it's 1/1 somewhere in the world, it's fine.

call them directly and NOW!
IMO no problem but just call to inform them.

Oh wow never mind I'm an idiot. I was thinking of CA time. D'oh!

I really hope colleges aren't so heartless as to not accepted an app just because it's a few hours late. :( I like the 1/1 somewhere in the world thing. How long will that apply for me if I'm in St. Louis? :P

don't worry about it. admissions have much better things to do that penalize you for being only an hour or so late. at least in my experiences, they really aren't out to get you.

But was the year 07 or 08?

The adcom won't care. Don't worry about it.

I hope its not bad... because even mine said processed 1/2. Though it wasn't accidental. I submitted it on 1/2.
According to my GC.. 1 or 2 days after is also acceptable.. And I have no choice but to trust her..

my app said 1/2 though I submitted 1/1 last year as well. no worries.
