i hated the cr sections.

for CR, peculiar in the ecology reading, does it mean eccentric or distinct?

distinct. (10char)

I think section three was the one about public opinion and voting or something. It also had something about predators and large cats? Anyways, I'm really hoping that section was experimental.

there was this question like to which two possible answer choices were "each species has its own habitat" and "people make cities based on natural impulses"... wat did u guys get for that?

ppl make cities based on natural impulses

1 CR wrong so far :) (diaphanous one)

me too, peculiar/distinct one, dont know how i got that one wrong. and I knew it too. seems we cant decide whether it is mouth or profile. I personally think it is profile

Why did you guys find the Writing hard? I found it the same as always. The math was kinda hard for me, and the CR was okay. I think I did the same as always, but I doubt I did good enough

I think its profile too.

Mouth: because it is the feature than a layman would notice because it's the most alluring part of the Mona Lisa. That's why the author of the first paragraph emphasized it with the last sentence; "and then there's the smile" (not exact wording)

It's definitely not profile...you guys looked in the passage, saw the word profile, marked it. What it said was that the Mona Lisa went BEYOND the traditional profile painting. Period. It said nothing else about a profile, at ALL. He left you in suspension at the end thinking about her smile...clearly, he wanted to emphasize this...

thank you yankees.

im 100% sure its profile

I'm 100% sure it's mouth

stop arguing and email ets

For the personal anecdote/broad generalizations questions about Africans, it was personal anecdote wasn't it? It was talking about what techniques he used to build his arguments, and he was using "we" and "my" all throughout the essay

It wasn't personal anecdote, since for that to be true he would have had to use a story. He didn't tell a specific story.

just because the author employs first person does not necessarily imply that he used personal anecdotes.

wasnt it personal anticdotes (or however it's spelled) whenever he mentioned himself, his family, as well as the two proverbs about the african race he's a part of

and i know it's a stretch, but even with the thing with the mirror and the shattered glass

or is it generalizations because not everyone feels that same as he does?
