I Just Took The Sat

i got 3 wrong, 2 blank on math (dont knw which math section was experimental)
about 5 wrong, 2 blank on verbal
essay good not great about 10, writing mc i say about 3 wrong
any ideas of score?

given my score above ^^^ wat are my chances for Cornell, with a 3.94 unweighted GPA (top 3-4% of class rank) and sufficent EC's? y yes ive taken a rigourous class schedule. im from california.

any ideas of chances to cornell would be very much appreciated

~thks

3 wrong? how do you know. effin relax and wait two weeks. we don't have a score rubric sitting in front of us. your score is on a curve. if everyone else got everything right you could theoretically have a low 600 or something :p

lol, you crazy character, I can't believe you counted how many you got wrong afterwards

You can never know exactly. There might be questions which you thought you got right but actally did not, and also those which your friends thought wrong.

I'm amazed you know how many you got wrong. I can't remember half the questions on it by now :)

let me see how close u guys were to my actual score

700 math 720 cr writing 720

801 math 801 cr 801 writing

if tats true i would be so happy

while procrastinating...I found my score report

I got 730 v, 7 wrong, none omitted...so you probably did the same or slightly better than me

720 m, 4 wrong, none omitted...so you probably did better than 700

Writing...11 essay, 8 wrong, 0 omitted (can you tell I don't like not answering?)...800, which means you did quite well on that section.

Relax, it's over, you probably will receive over 700 in everything.

"Writing...11 essay, 8 wrong, 0 omitted (can you tell I don't like not answering?)...800, which means you did quite well on that section."

sat2 right? on new sat that would get u 700ish.

Yea, it was the SAT II

on the new sat that would get you below 700 lol, not even 700ish...I think that's ridiculous..

well, doesn't matter much, does it? 'cause it got me 800 instead...I was trying to be helpful, not to have my score criticized, but thank you.

Grumpy BUm!

I find scaling in general dodgy. I can tell you for certain you'll get more than 200 but less or equal to 800 for each section. Does that help? :p

oh no im sorry, i didnt mean to criticize i promise, I was just saying, sorry i didn't mean it to come off as criticism.

but will 2100+ be enough for cornell, would cornell even be worth applying? how about John Hopkins?

how about John Hopkins, do i have a better chance there???
