i just wanna know

<p>can i get in? with johns hopkins being such a prestigious medical school i've heard extreme cases where highly qualified students don't get in while people who didnt have goo marks did (both going into the same major?) . so I'm a little confused if I will be qualified, chance me please?</p>

<p>I have an unweighted gpa of 3.7, a weighted of 4.0 and a 5.3 on a 6.0 scale
I have passed two ap exams-World History:5, Human Geography:3
Currently taking 3 APs and have taken several classes at the colleges</p>

<p>Act/SAT: got a 29 Act (going to retake) and havent taken the sat yet</p>

<p>Im in the top 10% of my class</p>

<p>Im President and Coordinator of an event that packages and sends meals to Ethiopia, I raied enough money to send 16,000 meals to families in the United States and Ethiopia </p>

<p>I am part of a choral group who is internationally renowned winning gold in every field freshman and sophmore year in San Fransisco and Boston and now going to San Antonio this year. We also sang the national anthem at the Red Sox/Yankees game last year. Librarian (2009)/ President (2010)</p>

<p>I was picked by my school to be my schools represenative for Hugh O'brian you leadership confrence and was then selected at that conference to represent south florida in the Worl Leadership Conference. Im now secretary for the local chapter as well as a facilitator for a conference our chapter is putting together as well as part of Team Alumni for next years ambassadors</p>

<p>I would say that your chances amount to my saying of leeeeeewl. Everything’s disorderly, sadly, in your ECs etc.</p>

<p>I say you have a fair chance at Hopkins, definitley retake your ACT/SAT though</p>

<p>Being Lebanese isn’t a hook as you are still considered white and therefore not a URM. Academics are weak and your ECs don’t show strong passion in one subject. Also You are applying for undergrad, not medical school, so anything that you have heard about their medical school acceptances is completely irrelevant.</p>
