guess i’m being too unrealistic, damn…yeah well i’m only a sophomore so i’ve got a little time, but i’ll still shoot for some reaches, who knows, anyone else?

You look good for Penn State University Park, Northeastern, and BU with a 3.5. Try to pull up your GPA, especially in your junior year and do well on the SAT. Then the rest of your schools will definately no longer be reaches.

thanks guys…bump…also: My cousin and grandfather went to the University of Michigan, and my dad went to Syracuse University if it makes any difference

I’m just going to say that upward grade trends look very good on college applications. It’s not too late to salvage your GPA! You need to focus on school, and start preparing for the SAT/ACT NOW! Decide which one you like better and start studying for it.

yea ur in SU too, just ace ur scores n take ap’s n get some leadership, dont wait, biggest mistake i made was procrastinating preparing for SATs, trust me, no worse feeling then not being confident about getting into your number one

You can still raise your GPA and load up on AP’s (if possible) junior and senior year, but right now it’s too early to tell, just keep working and continue your EC’s for a solid app. Try to get your ACT in the 30s for Northwestern.
