wat are the advantages of ED? i am debating on whether i should apply ED or not so i would like to know wat advantages i have applying ED compared to RD. thanks.

I agree with what other posters have told you. I would not worry about your bio satII score; I think satII's are primarily achievement tests that measure how closely your high school curriculm matches the test - rather than your aptitude in a particular area. However, your scores on the reading and writing parts of the satI are a bit low for Cornell, so if you can bring them up, that would be good. You should definitely apply ED and indicate biological sciences as your intended major. Your best chance is to stress your interests and goals - which include studying biology at Cornell. I think you have a reasonable chance of being accepted and you should definitely go for it. Just keep an open mind about other schools as well, because - in the long run -you can have a fantastic college experience and life even if you are not admitted to Cornell.

agh, it's not the end of the world if you don't do well on one SATII. You'll be fine...

Its only one score...I mean they will take into consideration everything else u have so dont worry! If it make u feel better I had a 790 IIC, 600 physics and a 700 WH...I still got into cornell.

Thank U again for all your advice..:)

appleapple what else did you have?

what do you mean what else I have? like my other stats...haha down and dirty list....
GPA 3.8,
APs 9 (mostly 4s and 5s scores),
Extracurricular- above average,
SAT scores- average for cornell,
How I got in? Sheer luck, thats what college is on this level anyways...
good luck

what were you sats, i'd ike to know what is "average" for cornell

If you want to know the "average" for Cornell, go to their site to check their statistics.

660 isn't too bad. Most people in cornell get 600s-750s on SATs. It won't hurt you if everything else is alright.

not a big deal. still a chance
