I just watched "Breaking Away"

I decided to rent this old movie so I could get a glimpse at Bloomington and parts of the IU campus. Albeit, it's 30 years old! :) But, I actually enjoyed being able to see the rock quarry and "swimming hole', as well as the surrounding areas. I noticed some of the hilly terrain. I also liked seeing downtown Bloomington and residential streets. Again, I know it was a long time ago, but it still gave me a taste of B-town. What I really liked hearing was the "Indiana, Our Indiana" fight song. I can't find any other vocal version of it online, though. Only the pep or marching band. Anyone know of a place I can go online and listen to actual voices rather than just the instrumental version?

This is pretty adorable, even though he doesn’t sing all of it.

This has the majority of the lyrics

I saw that movie for the first time a couple years ago, and I was actually surprised by how many places looked similar. The shot of the highway looked almost identical, and the scene by the square was pretty similar to current-day too.

I remember around January or February I received a big packet from IU with a CD that had all sorts of IU facts and little videos, including the lyrics to the fight song. So hopefully you should be getting it soon, too!
