I know... ANOTHER "can I get into Pharm School" post. =\

Here's the deal guys... my journey towards my future career has been full of failure...

First, I was pre-dent -- junior year, i found out I hate teeth. Then I was meditating on what I like and what I wanted to do. I like exercising and the physiological processes involved in sports supplements (especially hormone manipulating products BTW). So, I decided I could be a Researcher for a sports supplement company developing new products. Wow... that was a flop. I found out 90% of their funds are spent on marketing; not research and development. There are some other details from that point to now, but the main point is... I FINALLY DECIDED ON BECOMING A PHARMACIST.

However, I don't know if I have the grades to still get in... I was looking at a couple of schools where the average GPA of students accepted was 3.4. My cum GPA is a 3.252, and I have yet to take the PCAT. So...

What are my chances of getting in to a pharmacy school. I don't necessarily care which one... with my GPA, I can't get too picky. I just want to get in.

Please!!! I could use all the input you guys have!! Where I have the best chance to get in, What I should strive for on my PCAT, if I should look for a Pharm Tech job... ANY ADVICE would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot!

bump. I know "chanceing" gets tiresome, but anyone who can, please help!!!

BTW, I'm a Marquette University student if that helps.

umm... i have no credentials in this area, but i would say that you must ace the PCAT. just bust your a$$ off and do well to bring up your grade. you'll definitely get into some pharmacy school, though it may not be the best...

i really have no expertise here, but i didn't want to leave you hanging!!!
good luck
