I know another Chances Thread....

I'm sorry to put yet another chances thread on here, but I would like to know if, in your opinion, I stand any sort of chance at Notre Dame(both EA and RD). I'm currently a junior.

GPA: 3.8 UW, 4.1-4.3 UW
Commended Scholar for PSAT(lets just pretend even though results aren't out yet)
SAT: 2150(Took it once soph. year, got 1970 walking in, I expect a pretty good increase with practice)
ACT: 31
EC
Cross Country 4 Years-letter junior and senior(my passion, year round commitment and the reason I don't have too many other EC)
Track 10,11,12
Nordic Skiing 10
Youth Extending Services(Club at school that volunteers in various things) 11,12-about 50-60 hours of bellringing, fundraising, can collecting, etc.
NHS
Community
350-400 hours volunteering at local hospital
45 hours working on cross-country trail behind high school
AP Classes-US, Calculus A and B, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Statistics-expecting 4's and 5's
I am also taking a marine biology trip to the Cayman Islands this summer, not sure if that counts as anything.

well first off if we are considering you for both applicant pools..oh nm you are a junior...that makes it simpler....

Are some of your scores assumptions based on past scores?
hmm not really sure yet legacy? race?

Yes, my SAT scores are an assumption. I took the new one once already Sophmore year with no studying, 1970. I'm fairly confident in a 150-200 point increase. PSAT scores are assumptions based on three practice tests, all of them were good enough for a commended scholar, so pretty confident on that too. No legacy, I am an Asian (Indian). Oh, and sorry for putting the thread up twice.

..thats been happening..well not a lot but that happened recently...so about tests..they are what you expect?

Yep, scores are generally what I expect.

I'd say you'll have a decent shot when you apply if you can get those scores up. Just keep working hard, good things will happen.

Thanks for the info. Are you a student there, Weed/Jackie?

I'm applying RD.

Duke,

I didn't reply because I thought they had pretty much answered your question, but just in case you want to talk to a student at ND, I am a junior. My contact info is in my profile (hopefully) so get in touch if you need anything.

yea im a junior in hs....and decided to get involved with the ND area

whats your best track times and xc times, just curious
