I applies for MITES, SSP, and Carnegie Mellon SAMS for this summer, here's hoping I get in to one of them!
Anyway Thanks in Advance for Chancing!

I think its too early to chance you as of yet but you’ll have a good chance at many of those schools.

Random: Is your username personal or a reference to Ulysses?

Edit: You’ll get into Howard, BU and UPitt, for sure. Probably Colgate and Barnard, as well. The others are less clear to me.

Howard University - match
Oberlin University - match
Boston University - Great match, maybe safety
UPitt - match
Carnegie Mellon - match
Tufts University - low reach
Barnard College - match
Rice University - match
University of Virginia - match
Colgate University - match
Emory University - match
University of Pennsylvania - match - low reach, mainly because of the sat
Duke University - match
Columbia University - match
Yale University - reach (Yale is a reach for EVERYONE, considering its so unpredictable)
University of Chicago - match - low reach
Stanford University - reach

@originalthought
Yes, My User Name is a reference to Ulysses! Good Catch!
Thanks for the Chance, too!
@Sidthekidc87
How is Tufts a low reach where as Columbia is a match?

Just a quick note, I think you mean prospective instead of perspective major :P

Oh Sorry, That is what I meant.
Does anyone have any more opinions?!

Tufts requires more impressive stats than Columbia. Ivies are Ivies simply because of their location and hoary status. Tufts is generally more selective, even though its not an ivy

Howard University - Low Match
Oberlin University - ?
Boston University - Low Match
UPitt - Low Match
Carnegie Mellon - Reach
Tufts University - Low Reach
Barnard College - Match
Rice University - Match
University of Virginia - High Match
Colgate University - ?
Emory University - Match
University of Pennsylvania - Reach
Duke University - High Match
Columbia University - Low Reach
Yale University - Reach
University of Chicago - Low Reach
Stanford University - Reach

Great ECs, volunteer hours and some really unique things like being a Jeopardy contestant. I think if you can get up your standardized test scores a little bit that could really help your application. I’d also suggest trying the ACTs if you haven’t already. I got a 2150 the first time on my SATs and then a 35 on my ACTs which was much much better so I went with that. The same might happen for you.

I don’t know much about many of your schools, although for the Ivy League ones I think you would be a competitive candidate. It’s always hard to predict a Yes or No for those schools but I think you definitely have a good shot.

Chance me back please? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1094141-what-my-chances-ivies-some-top-lacs.html

That is completely incorrect.

Yeah, that Tufts info sounds incorrect to me…
I guess this is what you would call a “bump” post so…
buuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmpppppppp
