All recs should be really good. I'm getting an additional one from my troop leader who's known me for too too long.
Essays/short answers are pretty decent. Not like mindblowing. This might be a problem. I'm not the most articulate writer.

Any questions?
And if you've made it this far, I congratulate you.

Don't retake the ACT.

You'll certainly be competitive.

That's definitely not the answer I was expecting.
Thank you!
BUMP.

I agree with docketgold, 34 is fine.

looks comprehensive and a very competitive profile. just like everyone else though lol. its just the nature of the beast. SAT scores seem to be just about the Stanford average and I agree that the ACt is fine. GPA cant be any better and ur involved heavily in music and in science so theyll like that passion u show. Gluck, ill be competing with u and the other thousands of superqualified candidates. i have a thread up could u please respond to mine as well? thanks

Yep. I'll do that.
Anyone else?

what 5 awards and 7 ECs are u gonna post on the common app?

The Common App website isn't working right now. Hm.
Let's see if I can remember correctly.

HA. Thanks. I thought so myself.

BUMP.
Anyone have any idea on how to make certain things stand out in my app?
Any help at all?
ANYTHING??
I'm sending it in tonight for sure.

do u go to the woodlands?

^^^^"the dot kind, not the feather kind"

if you have ever seen the blue collar comedy tour, they also refer to it as "slurpee indian, not casino indian."

No I don't go to the Woodlands. I live in the Cypress area.
And woowski, that's pretty hilarious.

I agree with pose716. You'll definitely be competitive. It's going to come down to your essays/letters.

Uh oh. I'm pretty confident about my recs, but I'm not sure if my essays are that spectacular.

You know you can add the other awards in the additional information section, that is what I did.

wow, looks good.

You're good but not outstanding.

I know someone who got a 2400 on his SAT, and a 35 on the Act...hmm...I am pretty sure he got 800's on all his SATII's as well. He had a lot of extracurriculars and he won a national competition in academic decathlon. However, he got rejected when he applied to Stanford (he got into caltech though). The point is you never know if you are going to get into stanford or not...
