I know I have no chance but why not chance me anyway? (will chance back)

So I know my grades aren't the best in science but I'm hoping I can make up for that with my extra carriculars and skills in language and journalism. I want to major in history or politics so I'm hoping my science grades dont' weigh me down as much as I think they will. I go a public school in CT that is nationally ranked and sends many kids to Ivy Leagues and Top LAC's. I haven't taken my SAT's yet(will be doing so in March). Also my course load is in the top 3% for challenging. I have some kick ass recomendations lined up and my essays will be good as well.

Bard

In march? Ur a junior?
Then you have plenty of time to boost your application. good luck!

A lot of these depend on your score you get on SATs, those could actually make or break your application. cus youve got good ECs and grades. I recommend a job, shows commitment.

So im going to assume a good score, a 32 on ACT or a 2150 on SAT.
Colgate - match
Bates - match, low reach
Middlebury - reach
Tufts - match
Haverford - match

It seems you like the LACs. I would suggest, Carleton college in MN, Northwestern has a great journalism and theatre program, and Rice U.
Safeties: Dont really know much about those, any state school should be fine.

Good luck again!

I’m not really sure how to change you, but everything you have done looks great

Amherst - match
Vassar - match
Tufts - low reach
Colgate - match

chance me please

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/832111-what-my-chances-get-into-hoftsra.html#post1063758735</a></p>

Amherst, Vassar and Colgate are all matches. Tufts seems to be the only reach and as Csunde identified before me that too is a low reach. Good luck.

Matches across the board

Chance me back please!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/831914-chances-cooper-union-i-am-urm-please-help-anxious-senior-will-chance-back.html</a></p>

Your hook is your multi-lingual fluency. Use that to your advantage.

Amherst match
Colgate match
Bates low reach
Middlebury
Tufts low reach
Haverford match, good chance

I think you still have some time since you’re a junior. The C’s in Honors Sciences classes might hurt you, depending on your proposed major, but I think you have a pretty good chance at most of the schools you’ve applied to. Btw, your EC’s are great!
