I know I have no chance

ACT: 27 (11 essay)
GPA: 4.13 W, 3.4 UW
Rank: Top 6%
IB course (toughest course)

Good extra activities such as drumline, NHS…

I know this is not good for Penn.

I am not considering ED or RD to Penn, but I just wanted to know if it looked acceptable.

Not: URM, Legacy or anything that would help me.

From Texas.

Where in Texas?

have you heard of bedford?

in between Dallas and Fort Worth

I don't get why people title their threads similar to your's.

It's so fricken annoying.

You know you have a chance, you just want people to tell you that.

Um....look at my stats....and compare it to people who got in...

So, does that mean you want someone to affirm your thoughts and tell you that you are more worthless than a flying fart in the wind (not that I'm actually telling you that)?

If you are not considering applying to Penn, which is what I assume you mean when you say that you are "not considering ED or RD to Penn", then for what, exactly, do you want us your stats are acceptable?

You definitely have a chance. I agree with my name sake Mr. K...it is kind of annoying.

And Bedford is lame. Dallas for life.

dallas has too much crime these days...

Not if you're a hardcore gangsta rollin' with your 9.

your stats are fine. shush.

for Wharton???

You can get in. You won't be the strongest app (because of the ACT), but everything else looks like you'd be a midrange applicant. no way to retake anything?

I will retake ACT....

My gpa/rank will come up too. We have a trimester system at our school.

seeing that you have nearly 1,600 posts on this forum, i think that validates you as a person worthy to give people advice on their stats, not the other way round... i mean you've probably read/ know more than the average forum user!

it would be more valid for excel to give advice were he/she a past or current penn student.

moreover, the average act score is 30-32, if i recall correctly, so bring that up and you'll be fine.

how come on other sites such as collegeboard, PR,...it says average ACT is 28-32?

Oh gosh if post counts represented intellect....
hahahahahahahhahahahahahahah0ahahahahahah

don't go solely by average act scores, since they are not the only determining factor in your application (and indeed, given that most have scores in this range, not really a distinguishing mark at all)

High post count ahoy!

someone from my school got in ED with a 3.4 uw and a 28, but i think shes in the school of nursing
