I know I know (sorry) Chances as OOS?

<p>I know its really competitive out of state. I've already applied....do I have any shot at all? Current students opinions or those knowledgeable about UC admissions would be appreciated.

<p>:D Well, I think from what I hear, Berkeley is more oriented with your essays than they are your grades although your grades are impressive. I mean, if your essay definitely says something about you, and says it beautifully, you should be good.</p>

<p>However, that's just my two cents. You realize that whatever people say ultimately don't make a difference unless s/he was an adcom. The UCs sometime seem a little random and unpredictable in their admissions process.</p>
