could I possibly get opinions on my chances at Penn here?

Lets see…
I just finished my sophomore year at my high school in Jersey.
My GPA… not so hot, only 3.5 (weighted) at the moment because I slacked a bit freshman year. (~3.1 fresh, 4.2 soph.)

I’ve taken a total of six honors classes [so far] and recieved A&B’s in all as final grades [excluding a C- in honors geom. my freshman year].

This summer I’ve enrolled in and am currently taking chemistry at the CCP [community college of philadelphia] so that I may take both AP. Chem and AP. Bio in my junior year and skip what would have been the mandatory 11th grade honors progression to chem. honors.

I’ve been volunteering since I was very young, but as of the summer after 9th grade began doing 8 hrs. a week at HUP.

I’ve also accumulated about 50-60 hrs. with the special olympics.

ECs… I’ve been really involved with operation smile since 9th grade, and am attending a mission summit (for opsmile) on tuesday in Utah. I’ve also been playing field hockey for about 8 mts. of the year since 7th grade. In school ive been on JV for the past two years, but also played as a “floater” for varsity last year. I’m hoping to make varsity this year. I also managed Varsity Wrestling freshman year, and am planning on doing mock trial this year.

I’m set to take AP. Bio, AP. Chem, AP. Macroec and AP. US History this year along with Eng. Honors III, and Latin IV. Honors.

What else? Well, I’ve always been pretty interested in writing and recently entered an essay contest (wont get results until september).

PSAT soph. 184. (not too, great 88th percential.)

Hoping to go on a mission with op. smile shortly.

(I know this doesn’t count for much, but I figure I’d throw it in) Both my mother and sister went to Penn, my mom works at HUP, and one of my recs is going to be from a Penn grad.

yeah. my record is not so great yet, Im not really looking to see if I’m good enough for Penn yet, (I know I’m not), I’d just like some potential reassurance that it’s not too late to become good enough for Penn.

Also, I’d like to apologize for spamming the wrong board with this, I’m new to college conf. and am thoroghly confused with its workings.
