I know not at wharton, but...

Hi, i was just wondering....i was accepted to SEAS and i know that it is EXTREEMLY difficult to double major now between SEAS and Wharton...but how about CAS? is it difficult to double major in say Systems Engineering (SEAS) and Economics (CAS)??

nope, quite a few engineers do a double major (or at least a minor) with econ - just plan ahead to make sure you'll complete everything in time

You'll need a 3.0 to add a degree from the College (as opposed to something around a 3.8 to add Wharton). In terms of difficulty, I'll just say don't overestimate the difficulty of Wharton classes. Unless if you meant fitting everything in 4 years, in which case you're right. The only reason why CAS would be easier is if your extra electives were all BS classes.

Most of the engineers I know have found their Wharton classes (esp finance, econ, accounting) pretty easy b/c their quantitative skills are more advanced than the average Wharton student.

a dual degree with either wharton or SAS is very do-able. you should find econ very manageable, although you have to take a set number of courses and then "apply" to the major (The Economics Major)
