I know that everybody does this but...

I know that everybody does this but I really want to know my chances...so here it goes...

I am going to be a transfer student and I am applying to Brown, Mills, BC (first choice), and Smith. I have a 4.0 GPA currently from a community college as I did not receive enough financial aid to attend a four year university last fall. In high school I graduated in the top 10% of my class with very strong recomms. and EC's. My SAT/ ACT/ SAT II scores were about average however I will have over 30 college credits when I transfer so I don't believe that they will be weighted as much as they are for freshmen.

With the information above, please tell me what you think my chances for admission are to BC, Brown, Smith, and Mills. Also, tell me anything that you guys know about the colleges I listed; especially regarding financial aid packages that might have given in the past. Thanks

Also a member of PTK and Circle K...and NSHHS and others like it if it helps at all

what were your SAT/ACT scores?

ACT in the low 30's and SAT's around 1700 (not to stellar...I know) but I am hoping that they won't be weighted as much as they usually are for freshmen....as I have been told by college counselors

doesn't anybosy have any input???? please

I am a transfer also. I will be attending smith in a few days! I transferred from a state school, not a community college, but Im sure they are not drastically different. I would say you would get into smith. My SATs were low, but I did not have to submit them since I had been in college for a year. Write a good essay and get new recomendations and you have a good chance ; ) Feel free to ask me any questions about smith or transferring.
