I know that everyone does this but...transfer chances??

I know that everybody does this but I really want to know my chances...so here it goes...

I am going to be a transfer student and I am applying to Brown, Mills, BC (first choice), and Smith. I have a 4.0 GPA currently from a community college as I did not receive enough financial aid to attend a four year university last fall. In high school I graduated in the top 10% of my class with very strong recomms. and EC's. My SAT/ ACT/ SAT II scores were about average however I will have over 30 college credits when I transfer so I don't believe that they will be weighted as much as they are for freshmen.

With the information above, please tell me what you think my chances for admission are to BC, Brown, Smith, and Mills. Also, tell me anything that you guys know about the colleges I listed; especially regarding financial aid packages that might have given in the past. Thanks

I am also a member of PTK and Circle K if it helps at all...

Brown offers little to no financial aid to transfers.

Yep, and I believe they are need-aware so that may even affect your admission :(

I think you've got a good shot at BC though. Good luck! :)

I think for community college students, SAT/ACT is more important than it is for four-year to four-year transfers. This is in part because community colleges come in all sorts of different rigors. What are your test scores?

Also for Brown, you would need some very good essays and ECs.

I think you will get into smith.
