I know the premed program is good at Tufts...

But exactly HOW good? Specifically, I want to know how it compares to Duke's premed program before I make a final decision...

The 8 pre-med courses will cover everything required for the MCAT except for a small part in human physiology. Tufts, for whatever reason, chose to study the cardiovascular system, the respiratory system, and the excretory system in depth instead of covering all 8 human organs found in the test.

Of course human physiology is maybe 5% of the test and you’ll have no problem learning all the required information from a prep book. Everyone I know who took it this past cycle (and took it seriously) did extremely well.

The pre-med advising system is also top notch. Be on top of your game starting from orientation though, because things will come fast and hard.

Edit: grammar

Don’t engage in trying to figure out which school has a better pre-med program. They are excellent at both.
Pick the school based on where you’d rather be.

Thanks both of you!
