I’m really interested in Indiana University but I feel I may not get in due to my laziness in high school. This is the situation I currently have a unweighted gpa of 3.0 and I just received my ACT scores and I got a 28. I want to major in finance but I’ll probably end up going to Kelley through standard admission. Based on my academics alone will I get into Indiana University?
What is your weighted GPA?
If you improve your ACT above 30 and have a weighted GPA above 3.5 then you have good odds.
3.1 weighted
Take some AP’s to increase GPA and rank.
I wouldn’t count on it, but your ACT score is good. Make sure you have some safer options than IU, and maybe consider going to community college for a year and then transferring. You probably have a small chance though. Make sure to get as good of grades as possible next year because if you do have a chance, they will definitely want to see your senior grades.
