But I want a lab coat! Any suggestions on color, full length/short etc.?
What do you think people will say?

WOW

Mmmm do you really need a lab coat? Or do you just want one for style? Anyway, I think white is good- go classic. =) Length goes according to your height but I say full length to keep it real.

I have one. ![]()
White, full length.

I thought I was the only one who wanted one.
My mother is a doctor, so I walk around the house in her lab coat some time (for no reason other than I’m weird)

I want one
Particularly to wear to school next year… there’s a teacher here that is always wearing one and we’d be twins.

But I’ll be sitting in a lab by myself for most of the day in AP Physics and AP Cal BC… I like feeling official.

Oh… and I just think it would be cool in general. Anything I can do to make it cooler? I think I’ll at least get my name on it.

White, full length, and make sure you have your name monogrammed into it.

Just don’t add Ph.D until you actually get the degree.

LOL

Would it be pretentious to put “Mr. Firstname lastname?”
Should I include my schools’ initials? (Yes, plural)

Are there any cool accessories (other than goggles XD)?

Asians would think that you’re trying to show off.

-----______------

Actually, adding PhD would be great! =)

I would find it hilarious if some guy walked around my school like that. I think everyone would immediately find you cool. =P

Why Asians in particular? There’s only one in my school… and he’s always asking me for help in math, so that’s not a problem here.
Any particular styles? I may order online… but we have a uniform store here (fetish paradise?).

LOL I could put something like this:

“Dr. Firstname Lastname”

Someone would ask “What’s your PhD in?”

I’ll say “Doctor comes from the latin word docēre, meaning teach. I taught you something, didn’t I?”

Or “Dr. Firstname Lastname
Free mammograms”

Just make sure it’s a full length coat.

Remember, you can tell a person’s status by the length of their coat :D.

black

1234567890

■■■■■ a lab coat damn you made me choke on my sandwich.

um, go with half-pink and green dude that’d be awesome.

People don’t assume you have a PhD if you have Dr. infront of your name, they assume you have a MD.

True… but it would be a bit weird to put “Dr. Firstname last name, PhD” then I guess I would need to pick a specific degree… and drop Dr.

XD I don’t think that’s possible. I could get something like a chef’s hat or something ridiculous to wear someday just for the heck of it… along with a martial art’s black belt.

I think white, full length will work.

dude you should totally do that and go out everywhere.

I could at least have fun at Starbucks with it. “What’s name should I put on your order?” Dr. Lastname

Is it allowable to put something like:

Dr. Firstname Lastname (PhD) without risking redundancy?

Or how about “Dr. Firstname Lastname (DBS)?”
Then people ask what DBS stands for, and I can say “Doctor of BS.” Standing of course for Doctor of Bull****

Even though DBS is the name of a degree conferred by a very low number of institutions…

Should I make it HDBS Honorary Doctor Of Bull****?

PINK!! If you can…

Oh, you’re a guy… um, something NOT white.

It’s good to know that I’m not alone in wanting my own labcoat.

For the doctorate, I would suggest DCTT (Doctor of Can’t Touch This)
