The 300 Jewish students on this beautiful campus of 1,100 students in Philadelphia's western suburbs enjoy dynamic social, educational, political and religious programs sponsored by Haverford Hillel as well as by the Bi-Co Hillel which includes Bryn Mawr College. Shabbat dinners, holiday programming, and cultural and intellectual events highlight the monthly program. Kosher food is available on Friday nights and holidays. Several Jewish Studies courses are offered each semester and students have access to Hebrew and Judaic Studies at Bryn Mawr. Students can also take classes at Swarthmore College and the University of Pennsylvania. Students are encouraged to attend national Jewish student conferences and subsidies are often provided.
