I know this topic has been beaten to death already, but......

.... I've searched through this forum and found some topics on the same matter, but I'm still sort of confused.

Most of the schools I'm applying to have a deadline of Dec. 30-31 for sending SAT score reports, and I'm planning to take the Dec. 4 SAT I. The scores are mailed out around the time they are available (Dec. 17), but I've seen that it takes 3-5 weeks for them to be mailed out.

Question is, if I send the score report after I receive the December scores, will the schools still receive it? Or do I just send now, and if my score improves, send it again?...

i believe once you get the scores online, you can send it online and have it all work out perfectly. get a second opinion though

Bumpage! :)

Why not send them now and then you can take the Dec. test with no pressure. If your score on the Dec. test improve dramatically, then rush them to all the schools. If your scores don't improve, no one will ever know you took them. The only downside to this is the extra $ to send scores twice.

You really need to check with your specific schools!
