I know what my reaches are, but could you please determine some matches for me?

<p>I posted my stats on here before, but I didn't ask for people to determine good matches for me. I'm researching colleges at the moment, though I don't exactly know where I fit in. Help me out, please?</p>

<p>I'm a junior.</p>

<p>Well, I'm currently the salutatorian (#2, I was in the hospital for three weeks, and subsequently, my rank dropped. But I'm still happy) of my class of 518 students with a 104.2 GPA on a 100-point scale.</p>

<p>-I helped run a program at my school in which we'd spend lunch hour reading to mentally challenged children.</p>

<p>-I'm an active member of Key Club and was secretary sophomore year.</p>

<p>-I run cross country and track and field.</p>

<p>-I am also an active participant in our school's drama productions (main roles)</p>

<p>-I'm attempting to write a novel and have already come up with five chapters. </p>

<p>-Because my school only let's you take one AP to begin with in sophomore year, I've only taken AP World History and have gotten a "5" on it. </p>

<p>-I'm captain of the speech and debate team, but didn't advance past district this year. It was pretty tough, seeing that our school didn't provide us with any resources.</p>

<p>-I interned for a family attorney last summer.</p>

<p>-I'm currently spending this summer working as a tour guide at a major tourist attraction, if that helps?</p>

<p>-And I'm Filipino/Caucasian, if ethnicity is an issue.</p>

<p>***I mean, I don't know. I see the stats of others on here and think, "Whoa, I don't think mine even compares."</p>

<p>I have yet to take my SAT</p>

<p>Lovely, are you looking for a certain area for school, small or large, any ideas on majors?</p>

<p>It doesn’t really matter regarding small or large, though I plan on doublemajoring (or takine either/or) in political science and psychology.</p>

<p>Yeah, but I did horribly. Maybe because it was the day I just got out of the hospital, but who knows. Got a 178. Shame on me. I’m not too good at math.</p>

<p>What [reach] schools are you already interested in? That way we can pitch some schools with similar qualities/environments.</p>

<p>So far your ECs are awesome and admirable, and you look like you will be a pretty competitive applicant when the time comes, anyway. </p>

<p>For the record, the majority of kids CC attracts are, indeed, very competitive students with ridiculous stats who also don’t think they/we could possibly compare to each other. So you’re okay. :-P</p>

<p>Well, I’m into Stanford, Harvard, Rice, and the University of California at Berkeley. I think those sum up my reaches.</p>

<p>Lovely, a couple of other schools I should have mentioned are Dickinson and Franklin & Marshall. Both are highly respected schools that are SAT optional. Both are in PA. Good luck!</p>
