<p>All right, this discussion is unofficially closed. There have been NUMEROUS threads about this and both sides have good points. The OP’s post was a joke and the people who continue to comment on this are absolute idiots.</p>
<p>I don’t think IB is worth the amount of work it takes. AP offers more flexibility. You’re required to take certain courses in IB that you might not want to take such as TOK which, from what I have heard, is a waste of time and boring class. IB is still limited because a limited number of schools offer it. AP is existant is mostly every school.</p>

<p>I don’t see why people shouldn’t be able to express themselves on a public forum, even if the argument will never end. Arguments on the internet never end, but does that mean they’re useless? Not in my opinion. Even if the two sides don’t come to a conclusion, readers will be able to arrive at their own idea after reading both sides.</p>
<p>IB and AP are equivalent:
scoring 1 in AP = scoring 1 in IB
scoring 2 in AP = scoring 2 in IB
scoring 3 in AP = scoring 3 in IB
scoring 4 in AP = scoring 4 in IB
scoring 5 in AP = scoring 5 in IB</p>

<p>You cannot compare them directly. Your AP score is solely based on one test. An IB score consists of tests, essays, and internal assessments.</p>

You click on the ‘search’ option and you come to a wonderful little screen where you can actually <em>GASP</em> search for knowledge and opinions on a variety of keywords! See, now you don’t have to repost every single question that goes through your head; you can use the search option and find out other topics like yours! So we don’t have to be constantly rehashing the same, tired old argument.</p>
