<p>Dubai is not rich right NOW because of oil. It is rich because of tourism and free trade in a convenient location.</p>

<p>It’s actually an incredibly crappy one, since the UAE is focusing on moving its economy away from dependence on oil exports.</p>

You are so insanely wrong. Many of these projects they’re working on haven’t even been completed. Virtually all of the money in the UAE is from oil. They are reinvesting it in tourism…but, as I said, many of the new resorts have not been opened for more than 4-5 years (so they might not have even turned positive).</p>

<p>The point is that they are way less dependent on oil exports as you may think so as to even consider mass murder for some Dr.Evil scheme to make more profits.</p>
