oh, and my school is a magnet/satellite/college prep school. idk how to explain it, you have to apply and be interviewed to get in. and it's also focused on science and technology...hence the name scitech. lol

that's pretty much all i can think of. and i LOVE columbia. like, i cannot imagine going to another school. i can't even begin to explain my love for that school. it just feels...like home to me. /cornyness

You know that we are all tired of these, yet you still create one???

yes, because just like everyone else that makes these, i’d really like to know what other people think.

and this is what this website is for. so…

If your SAT is higher (if you get 2200+), you will be a solid candidate.

awesome! thanks. yeah, i’m really hoping to up my score by a LOT. the first time around i was REALLY nervous. but now i feel so at ease because i know what’s coming.

not to mention, almost every other section i had to go to the bathroom! not very good when you’re trying to squeeze in those last few problems in the last couple of minutes i’m afraid D:

bumpdabump

sorry haha. i just want to have some more opinions! :)

your weighted gpa is a 3.9? what is it unweighted…

unweighted it’s 4.5

Does your school give an additional GPA point for honors classes? Wow. That would’ve been awesome. I had to take 13 AP classes and straight A’s to get 4.5+.

yeah, because all of my courses are either honors or AP, it’s worth more.

am really impressed with your resume, and also the fact your Dominican, one of my best friend’s is dominican, and i know it’s a tough culture, and so i commence you for really getting this far!!

your resume really screams "DEDICATED COMMUNITY SERVER!!! and you really put yourself to challenging courses, but above all when i read this, I get impression of someone who sincerely cares about humanity and life, and would make a great contribution to whatever college you go to. I agree though maybe a higher SAT score can help, just give in to the meritocracy, since that’s just part of life, Best of luck!!

thank you so much  maybe we’ll see each other on campus one day ^__^

You have a high chance since on top of having solid stats, you are a URM I believe. Good luck mate!
