I learned something tonight. (maybe just an epiphany)

I learned that there is no friggin point to apply at Harvard EA. Why would you do that when you could just apply EA/ED to a college that you have a shot at and would actually have fun at? I would much rather go to Notre Dame even if it is in the middle of nowhere and be surrounded by hot football players than go to Harvard and be "intellectually stimulated". No thank you, I prefer ACTUAL stimulation!
I learned this b/c I saw a site that showed all these wicked smart people, all applied EA at Harvard and were rejected. What makes me think that Im any different? I could lose my shot at a more realistic university because I wanted to be silly and apply at Harvard. And I just won't do it!

..sorry ya'll, I just had to get it out there!

Moni,

You sound like you have a good head on your shoulders and your priorities straight ;)?. I think if Harvard is someones dream school, let them go ahead and apply EA. But if it's only a pipe dream, apply where you think you'll be happiest.

There's a reason why this thread is among the headers: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=63841

It just finally hit me tonight that I was being crazy. But thanks for telling me I have a good head on my shoulders..

[huggles Moni!] :] Woot! You are so right about that! xD

Thanks, dearie. I guess I figured out somewhere along the way, that theyre not letting people in on looks so uh, I gave up on that crazy idea.

they wouldnt be letting you in on modesty either haha
