it had to be said... sour patch kids are my favorite.

I love chocolate....I can't part without it. I don't like sour candy since I hate puckered lips.

That's weird...sour patch kids are my favorite too!

hairypotty...if you don't mind me asking...are you going to UVA? (I read about your situation.)

BTW chocolate > greater than any other type of candy = p

I don't like chocolate. No, I'm not allergic to it if you are asking me. I'm just weird ;-)

I didn't make a final decision yet, but I'm leaning towards UVA.

hairypotty= weird person :p

I went through this chocolate phase where I kept buying chocolate...it was crazy. I love the Hershey's White Chocolate with cookies and cream...so good, but not so nutritious.

I like you Hairypotty, I hope you choose UVA! :)

Sour patch kids are tight, but only the red ones. Honestly the other ones are only good for sucking the sour sugar off of and then spitting out.

Once I ate so much sour patch candy that I couldn't feel anything on my tongue for about three days.

i love sour patch candy!!
i only eat very dark (baking) chocolate, (I gave some to some friends once and they spit it out) everything else is too sweet and makes me sick...
so, ...go us!

I love both sour candy and chocolate, but I can only eat chocolate with milk. Snickers!

I had a snickers bar today. Yummy!

I LOVE dark chocolate! tho not the cooking ones
godiva=heaven's chocolate!

"I can only eat chocoloate with milk"....I used to only drink milk when I had chocolate!! I love candy, but most of the time I'd choose ice cream over it. Candy ON ice cream, now thats where it's at :)

LOLZLOLZLOLZLOLZLOLZLOLZLOLZ! Why is this posted on the Cavalier board? Humph, I bet you all claim to be attending UVA when in actuality you wish to attend that dumb VT school. LOLZ!

Haha so you are saying UVA people don't like candy?!?! Thats dull...candy hater... ANYWAYS for my candy loving brothers and sisters sour patch kids are good no matter what, for those that just like the red ones try combining flavors and I think you will be revived in your love for sour patch kids. And for the ever growing chocolate faction on this board... dark chocolate is king.

Question: Do fruit roll-ups count a candy?

fruit roll-ups are part of the fruit group of the nutritional pyramid, so I've always told my mother :)

well i think it depends what fruit roll-up ur talkin about... i think there are natural ones but i'm talkin about the typical all sugar ones... cause with ur argument "since fruits in the name" fruity pebbles would be in the fruit group... and they aren't.

~Gubba

see fruity pebbles don't actually imply that the product actually has fruit IN it, the usage of "fruity" is open to several interpretations, but the most likely one would be the pebbles have a fruity flavor to them. Fruit roll-ups, on the other hand, imply that they are, indeed, some sort of rolled fruit. Therefore, we must naturally draw the conclusion that fruit roll-ups are none other than a member of the fruit group.

In addition, I have never had, nor never desire to have, an all-natural fruit roll-up. The prospect of that weirds me out.

:)

I'm 99% sure the main stream fruit roll-ups have no fruit in it... if I have a cherry candy I don't logically assume that the candy has cherries in it, rather I draw the conclusion that it is cherry flavored. Such is the case with fruit roll-ups... but it just doesn't feel right calling it candy.

I love those red swedish fish. I doubt there's an ounce of real fruit in those.

But I'm totally a chocolate fan all the way. Milk especially. Twix=yummy. English chocolate (Cadbury's!!!) is the master of all milk chocolates though. Ohhhh so good...

Yeah, I hope college is all like this: talking about candy. Hopefully it will involve some eating of candy as well.
