I’m indifferent to my high school. It’s given me a lot of good resources (13 AP classes to choose from) but some of the people prove themselves to be unbearable and the pass rates are low for said APs :S …it helps more than self-studying, however, to have an AP class.

lol I never explicitly said I didn’t like high school. I just said that I basically have no life -.- (yay).

That being said, though, I still don’t like high school, even if I didn’t actually say it. Especially my high school, a stuffy, hellish place where everyone is a hypercompetitive, cheating, gradegrubbing scumbag with 200 dollar phones and shiny BMWs.

^ Do you go to a private school? Or just a public school full of well off students?

The “gradegrubbing scumbag with 200 dollar phones and shiny BMWs” part sounds remotely similar to many of the students at my school. Not all of them are gradegrubbing (some use like 0.001% of their brain and I’m not kidding) but everyone seems to get new phones all the time. And almost everyone talks about their iPod Touch or Blackberry or any other phone being really shiiit.
And my mom has a pretty bad car which is as old as me whereas the majority of students have BMWs or Mercedes.

I think that, kinda like college, in high school the person makes the school, not the school makes the person.

It’s a lot different in college (I imagine), with a huge student population, but I think that you can always find at least one friend in a school of any size. I found two of my best friends at my old of 30/grade. At my new school of 100/grade, I found about a dozen great friends :D

I didn’t like high school for the first part of the school year…
but now looking back, the second part of the school year has probably been my favorite!

I’d like my high school if they swapped out about 90% of the student body with more intelligent and less arrogant people. Oh, and got less leaky facilities and better IT help.

^ I love/hate my French teacher. Hate because I can pull a 140% in the class without learning any French, which ticks me off. Love because she spends 95% of every class going off on tangents that usually involves discoursing on her funny college days in France. From her, I’ve learned that a large majority of French people have no idea how to drink soda out of a can without using a straw and like their cold drinks warmer than usual.

^I hate my french teacher, because she can’t teach, speak french well, pronounce words well, speak english well, and she doesn’t legit check homework. She just says did you do it? And I say yeah, and I lie, so I’m the only one she checks and half the class still doesn’t do it anyway. She sucks so damn bad…
