I literally got into Johns Hopkins last year without applying.

Sent only the main common app and high school transcripts because I got into my first choice EA with good aid. I never sent:

SAT scores

recs

supplement

application fee

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if I got in partially because they thought I was full pay (why would I fill out the FAFSA for a school I thought I didn't apply to?).

(Also, almost the same exact thing happened with Harvard, except they wisely rejected my 80% incomplete application.)

If what you said is true, that says something about the admission office. It is one more reason to have new people in charge. Maybe, admission_Daniel can shed some light on this.

How is it possible to submit the Common App without paying the application fee?

you can submit it if the school allows it. You could always be eligible for a fee waiver.

What the h*** is going on here?
Accepted without applying?

You make me feel bad.

You know it’s interesting. The same thing happened with me for Duke and Penn when I applied back in the day. And Chicago too (But I really really didn’t care about them).

this guy is a ■■■■■. there were and are thousands of full pay applicants with better credentials than you. Schools like JHU and Stanford are need blind in admissions. What exactly are you insinuating?

■■■■■. 10 char

perhaps your mother did it for you.
