I live in Bangladesh. Our education system is entirely different

it
s a small country located @ the south-eastern part of Asia. our system is totally different. We have 2 public exams. 1st one @10th grade n 2nd one @12th grade. I
ve just completed my 12th grade public exam & I got GPA 4.3 out of GPA 5.
Now due to some reasons I need a fresh start. I want to get myself admitted into a University at the US. I
m an average student. But now I see along with SAT scores I
ll need to provide my academic records & I
ll need some extra-curricular activities such as Math clubs, Debate clubs etc. But in our system, we don
t have any of those in our schools. Moreover we don
t even preserve all our academic records, all we preserve are the documents from two public exams.
I
ll take SAT1 & SAT2 this October n November respectively. I desperately need a fresh start. For some reasons I need to get out of here. My environment is not a healthy one. If I do very well in SAT, is it possible for me to get a scholarship at a decent university in the US. please let me know. thank you very much

Maybe you should read this thread (and post init): http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/international-students/1163916-bangladeshi-thread.html

You should read through everything at [EducationUSA | Study Abroad, Student Visa, University Fairs, College Applications and Study in the U.S. / America](http://www.educationusa.info/) and then make an appointment with the counselors at the advising center in Dhaka:
[EducationUSA - Center Profile - The American Center](http://www.educationusa.info/Dhaka) Those counselors are expert at helping students from your country navigate their way through the application process. They will be able to tell you where students like you have been admitted in recent years, and whether or not they received enough scholarship money.

thank you guys

Yes contact the financial aids offices of the universities and tell them about your talents and achievements. They will want you to go to their school and give you scholarships.
