I love ASU

I’m only a junior…but I heard you can apply there as early as July…

Does that mean since it’s rolling admissions, I will found out if I got in, in a few weeks?

I’m not too worried since my ASU gpa is 3.7, but that would be amazing to be in at one of my top choices, before my senior year starts.

Oh and any random info on ASU would help me out too.

thanks

yes you'll probably find out within a few weeks...I found out within two weeks of applying that I was accepted.
What kind of random information would you like to know?? be more specific

Well I'm curious about the daily life of an ASU student. How are the classes? How are the students? What is the main form of social life.....bars/clubs/frats/house/dorm parties???

Also how is the school spirit? Does the stadium usually fill up?

i'll let you know if i decide to go to ASU...

as far as school spirit and stadium fill-up goes, school spirit is HUGE there...everywhere you walk on campus, someone will give you the hand symbol of the sundevils...and then there is the week where they protect the 'A' from U of A...trust me, school spirit is huge...i go to AZ 2-3 times a year and there is no other way to describe the campus other than...? i can't even begin to explain it...besides the almost always blue skies, there are just so many people there that you are bound to fit in anywhere you want...again, i can't tell you about the hang-outs or the parties because i'm only a senior...but yeah...i'd imagine the social life to be amazing...but i know school spirit is huge, and the people are friendly...so my first time visiting campus on one of those orientations last year i was wondering the campus by myself and everyone i approached for directions to where ever was willing to help...one of my questions was answered with "you must be new, ok, lemme give you the rundown on that"...

i hope this helps...

Yah ASU seems to be the bomb. If I get rejected from UMiami and UCSB, then I will most likely attend.

I don't really like the 100 degree weather for a few months, but that's what AC and pools are for.

Thanks for the info....

I (unfortunately) had to wear a suit in AZ in the summer for a program. It really wasn't that bad in 120+ degrees. I also went running around 4:00pm one day (THAT was fun!) and I survived, so the hot weather is not as bad as you think. There is very little humidity, too. Everything has AC and the pool is an awsome place (from what I hear) to study/do class work.

ASU is my safety school, and I may attend if the other colleges I applied to reject me, due to finances (like some choices come down to), etc. I've applied to Duke, Rice, Vanderbilt, and University of Texas Austin.

I suggest you apply to more colleges than 3, but if you are happy with the 3 and your safety school and don't want to go anywhere else, then congrats! I mean, I'm applying to five and that is pretty low compared to what a lot of my friends. (I have one applying to 21 universities...yikes!)

Lived in Arizona all my life, couldnt imagine going to any other college than ASU. My sister is a junior there and she's shown me everything, and Ive wanted to go there since 6th grade.

I can tell you lots.
Dorms, parties, frats, clubs, everything. just pm me.
