UW GPA: 4.0
AP: U.S. History, Biology (taking tests next month, expect 3+ on each)

Thank you for your review/input.

I’m sure you’ll get into Villanova.

You have some great extracurricular, service, and employment, and it is phenomenal that you will be taking courses at Villanova and will be going to Georgetown this summer. Given your interest in finance/accounting/economics, the committee will be looking closely at your quantitative skills, so I would recommend trying hard to bring up your SAT-Math and SAT II in Math I. I would also recommend applying early action, as this shows the committee you are very interested in Georgetown, and it can only help your chances (even if you are deferred to the regular pool, during the review at that time, they recognize your strong interest in the school, which definitely helps).

I agree with medman that for economics/accounting degrees, I would try to raise my score significantly, perhaps to at least 700+ for SATI math, and I would even suggest taking the SATII Math Level II test. To only be top 10% with a 4.0 unweighted GPA might intimate that your school is not academically rigorous, so you definitely want your test scores to solidify the good impression conveyed by your GPA.

Thank you so much for your help - I am definitely going to focus on improving my math score on the SAT and excelling on the SAT II. Good luck in your college searches if you are in the same situation as most of us.
