Yeah, just to add another I-just-visited-Princeton-then-died-and-went-to-Heaven thread here...I went to Princeton yesterday, and just...wow. I'm ever so glad I applied there ED and got accepted. The very little doubt that has been lingering in the back of my mind for the last couple of months has completely vanished. I can't believe that near-mythical place is to be some of our homes for the next four years. Freakin' amazing, it was :)

Now go get 'em, tigers! (pun intended, of course ;)). Because now that I know what Frist actually looks like, I can get even more excited about a big coffee-filled roundtable of CCers once we get there :D

whooo!!! we will be living in paradise next year =P

And then some. Of course, they neglected to take us down to Butler and Wilson (although I met one of my friends at Cafe Viv who lives in Wilson and who said that while Wilson is definitely "ghetto," it's still okay), but it definitely exceeded even my grand expectations of it. Rock on! Or, as a girl from the conference I was at said so eloquently,

RIGHTEOUS!

lol glad you enjoyed it! Still hoping to join you there next year.
What did you do in nyc?

I didn't get to go :( We were originally supposed to be going to NYC last night and then P-town today, but because of the snow we went to Pton yesterday (yes, from DC...SUCK!) and came back last night. And now I'm stuck here. In the cold. And snow. Blech.

So I'm hoping I'll be able to come and visit NYC in the summer (and use it as an excuse to visit Pton again, but SHHH! don't tell anyone ;)).

cheers zante on from the sidelines in bright orange-and-black, '80s-style jumpsuit

Are you back in wacKo?

It's snowing so much here. I hope I get a snow day tomorrow crosses fingers

Oh, zante. OHHHHH zante! rubs temples does limbo

No, I'm back in DC. It snowed lightly in the morning, but it's picked up during the afternoon. It seems like everyone and their dog has school off here, even when there's practically no snow sticking to the street pavement (just to the grass, bushes, and the like). Then again, if more than 3 flakes fell in TX, we'd have a snow day. I like to think of this as a snow day, though, since I'm not in school. Ahhhh. sips cup of hot cappuccino burns tongue

Yeah, that was my one bad experience at Pton yesterday. Burning my tongue on a cup of Cafe Viv cap. pets tongue and wimpers

HEY, my driveway is finally covered, I live an hour from DC, lol, never ever complain about a snow day, no matter how wrongly it was called : )

also, I WANNA VISIT PTON!

Meanwhile we're getting 6-10 inches of snow and still no snow day :( Damn nyc too efficient with their snow plows >.<

it was bright and sunny today in phoenix at a high of 72 degrees and a low of 58 happy happy arizona!

I'm so jealous!!
29 degrees right now :( :(

ha, I used to live in new york, come over to socal and experience the closest thing to climatological paradise

Oh I knoww. I visited SoCal once during Christmas and I was wearing tank tops around, it was so beautiful. Ahh sunny all the time jealous sighh

haha its not our fault hte southwest has some amazing weather =P

Well, for the next four years you're going to be enjoying this snow too. Bahaha

lolol...shrek...isnt it fun to make fun of the people in arctic weather....its a wonderful, breezy 75 down here in florida also.

Haha. It's supposed to be 63 tomorrow 'round my town. That's +30 from what it is right now in DC. Suh-weet!

Things would have been a lot easier if I had just been accepted ED. I hope you all enjoy Princeton

:( Don't be so sad, legend. It's not over yet.
Anyway, now we have a better chance of being together.
