They're awesome. I love them. Don't you?

Yes, I’m fond of them.

Of course a geniunely nice person is great :)

I have met two actually nice people in my life. Most people you think are nice end up being the biggest b*tches.

^please elaborate. :)

I wish I could meet a really nice person… like the people you read about in Chicken Soup for the Soul!

^ It’s just that…people who aren’t genuinely nice, but seem nice, are doing it to get somewhere, whether it’s getting more friends or gaining the favor of teachers. In the end, though, after you’ve been friends with them or teaching them for a while, you realize that they’re actually not nice at all, and that they’ve had this ulterior motive. And they’re stupid about it, so everyone can see through them.

(Resources: personal experience with someone who used to be my best friend.)

^That’s unfortunate. Almost everyone with whom I spend significant amounts of time is nice.

^^ Yeah, most people just seem to be nice to your face when they want to be :(

^ Haha, probably because the people you WANT to spend significant amounts of time with would be the nice ones (:

I think a lot of nice people conceal themselves under mean exteriors.
and vice versa
