I love Stanford Board

avacado in California rolls awwww

mm cream cheese...never tried it but it sounds good....now I want sushi...:p

oh wow i am definitely spending too much time here. i can't believe i just read through 7 pages of threads (although i must admit they were fun to read). hmmm avocado and cream cheese? i like my sushi raw and wriggling ') i'll give it a try this weekend.

Speaking of wriggling foods, I almost write in my long essay that I've actually had the (subject of my picture) as snack, but I took out that line in case the adcom had sensitive stomaches.

I think writing about food or cooking is a very good topic for college essays, or at least that's whats my essay book seems to show.

^ um, not writing about eating ... give you a hint, it has a LOT of legs...

^ oh. Well, that makes it all the more intriguing, doesn't it? :)

^ meh, it'll just enhance Chinese people's reputation for eating anything that moves ;)

I've noticed that the CalTech board is always so silent. Wonder why...

silent about sushi? or just in general?

hahaha

hmmm scorpion? millipede? centipede?

^ hahahahah. scorpion lol - is that even edible? nope, none of the above :D. It's not slimy (ewwwww).

haha..it's squid. I mean, what else could it be?

Squids are yummy - I love tentacles! I also like turtle and snake soups. Amongst other things.

Nvm about the bug thing for now - I haven't had any since I was 6, so don't worry :) I'm not a complete weirdo.

Frogs are really yummy too, but it's quite expensive so my parents don't buy them very often.

squid is good, octupus is also pretty good. turtle, meh. ohhhh snake is great. okay wow i just realized how i've pretty much sampled every animal on earth besides platypus and other obscure stuff. so wait purrli what did you eat? the weirdest thing i've eaten is probably armadillo

mm squiiiiid.
lol this is totally random, but I saw the begining of a movie where these guys were in a boxing match and the winner got this big belt brought over to him. he held it up all triumphantly and then he turned into a squid and kept fighting the other guy....then it went into the intro with a theme song and credits and whatnot. the only lyrics i could pick out were IKA IKA IKA IKA IKA RESURA. and the title was IKA RESURA, which means squid wrestler.....btw did I mention this is a Japanese movie?

it's an insect, kinda big, and eaten after being buried into a jar of salt and fried the next morning as breakfast. nuff said :p

Frogssss are gooood! Esp. spicy legs.

What??? I didn't know armandillos are edible?? Aren't they endangered or something?

I've never had monkey brains, bear paws, cats, and baby rats though - it's cruel, but they eat them in the south like Canton.

I haven't eaten any of those animals either, and I don't want to, but I wonder what an armadillo would taste like? :D

like chicken. actually i had it when i was like 2 so i don't really remember.

^ lol. If I ate armadillo, I'd love to keep the armor as a souvenir. :p
