I Love...

COLUMBIA!!!!!

what a yummy yummy institution it is.

You've got good taste.

I haven't even stepped foot there yet, and I already have an AMAZING financial aid package, an internship I'm really excited about 2 train stations away, and a few great contacts.

Columbia's been good to me. :)

^...Lionhead. im a bit confused. on one of ur threads you said you're getting no finaid from columbia....and need a loan .

I got off the financial grant waiting list that I was placed on at the 11th hour. :D

Same thing for me!

My F.A. even advised me to look for outside funds at that point since she didn't believe anyone would get off the waitlist. They must have gotten some extra funds since I know at least one other poster in my situation who also got a grant at the last minute.

Yeah, I'd say it even supersedes Yale in awesomeness, eating food, wouldn't you agree? ;)

John Jay and other Columbia eating establishments turn down more food that ends up on tables at H, Y, and P than any other private university in the U.S., giving Columbia a 1 ranking in food selectivity. (USNFR, Feb, 2007). Of course, for many that does not change the widely held belief that Harvard still leads in food that matters.

^haha. That's cute.

Cornell would have to be #1 in food.

^ by a significant margin, I've heard H food is just as bad as all the others.
