I made a big mistake on my application and I'm wondering if I'd get rescinded for it.

I got accepted to UCSB, and when I was about to send my subject test scores to them, I noticed that I misreported my score on the UC application.

My original subject test score for Math Level 1 was 630. I put it down as 650. However, I did not do this on purpose and it was purely by accident. Stupidly, I was typing the score from memory and was too lazy to go to the Collegeboard website.

Also, I noticed that I put down Math Level 2 instead of Level 1 because I thought that Level 2 meant subject test and Level 1 meant reasoning test.

Also, if this helps… I did not apply as an engineering.

I know I made a really stupid mistake and please don’t try to berate me. I’m here to ask what should I do and what the possible outcome is? I already sent an email to the admission board and I’m waiting on an answer from them.

Didn’t you have to submit an official score report from College Board as part of your application documents? UCSB would use the official scores instead of the self-reported scores when making their admission decision. Did you check your portal to see if your official scores are received? If so, you should be fine.

I believe I sent only my SAT reasoning test scores. I don’t think my subject test scores were sent.

But I still got accepted?

SAT subject tests are not required by any UC’s so it should not make a difference in your admission decision. I would just check with admissions to make sure they do not want the official score reports since you self reported.
