<p>Well sonicboom and I have a friend who went to Cal first, hated it, then transferred to UCLA.<br>
And flopsy, I think the actual drop is more like 75.5% if the people that join are an accurate reflection of the applicant pool xP</p>
<p>I'm taking into account the lowered admit rate this year -- the admit rate is going to be as low as 20-21% if UCLA admits the same number of people as last year. :rolleyes:</p>

I highly doubt Cal's acceptance rate is going to plummet as drastically as you suggest.</p>
<p>One thing that helped UCLA's higher amount of applications is its appearance in the championship game last year.</p>
