I made a huge mistake on my application

I just realized that I accidentally checked off the "International Agreement" box, even though I'm a U.S. citizen and applying for financial aid. Will this look negatively on my application if I e-mail them telling them of my mistake? :/

Thanks in advance!

I think they will understand. Also, if you gave your address, social security number, etc. I think they will figure out that your a domestic applicant. Good luck!

P.S.: One of my recommenders made a huge, stupid mistake (much worse than yours). In the heading to whom they were addressing they wrote “To University of Michigan” instead of Stanford and had University of Michigan all throughout the letter. She let me read the recommendation a week after she sent it, and I noticed and told her that she forgot to replace University of Michigan with Stanford. She was so embarrassed and she quickly emailed Stanford to revise her recommendation. Stanford was very understanding and immediately let my teacher revise it and fax it over.

Hope this helps! :)
