I made me short response... short?

It seems that everyone here put way more thought into their short response than I did. I only made mine one (long) paragraph, and didn't even consider doing a full blown essay response. This is because I put a lot of my stuff into my common app essay, and didn't feel that it would be strategic to rehash a lot of it just for the short response. Did I screw myself over or what?

The point of the short essay is to answer the topic quesiton with substance, not length. If you feel that adding more to it would have made it repetitive, then you were right in your decision to leave it as a paragraph (although isnt the short answer about why you want to go to Emory?- how did you already use a lot if it in the common app essay?). If you could have enhanced it somehow, which might mean adding more to it, then it would have been better to do so. But in any case, don't worry about it too much right now since apparently you've already applied. This short answer is just one part of many things that make up your application.

Good Luck!
