Hi,
Im about to graduate as a general biology major from UMD. I am not interested or passionate into going to med/pharm/etc. school plus the chances are so low with my grades. I am considering graduate school for some science field vs getting a job vs applying for a mid/low-tier business school under Economics or MBA (just applied to a few). My heart is really not into a science grad school either (the rest of my life would probably be depressing slave labor for better pay as some researcher/teacher) but it is safe/better money in the long run. Id rather be happy doing something though. But I am scared it's a fools dream since I know so little about it and may not even like it once I get into it (Ive taken Accounting 101 and liked it overall but it was a lot of math honestly). Im considering getting into investing. I want to eventually make a good deal of money in the long run but Im content with just making a living (I dont need to be rich). Someone told me I should rethink doing this because it's hard to find a job. Where can I find out more about business/economics/finance to see if this is something I really enjoy? Whats your advice? What should I do overall?
