i didnt register on time this year to do my SAT. Is it too late to take it my senior year when i start applying to colleges or will they be able to find out that info?

It won't be too late. You will be cutting it pretty close, though. As for ED/EA, look at the individual school to see their policy.

It's fine, although may be stressful trying to balance SAT studying and regular schoolwork, scholarship apps, etc. (speaking as someone who wrote the SAT/SATIIs for the first time in Oct/Nov, and was applying ED)

For early applications (EA, ED, SCEA) October scores will be accepted everywhere, and some colleges will also accept November scores; the policy regarding November varies from college to college so be sure to double check

For RD, December is accepted everywhere, and some colleges will even take January scores if you are retaking a test in January.
