I went to a CC, and graduated from there with an AS in Biology. My non-major GPA was 4.0 and my major GPA was around 3.2. During my third (last year) there, I was going through a lot and I wasn't really sure if I really wanted to pursue the whole doctor career (which is what my parents forced on me). I ended up getting a C in my O-chem 1 class, and not completing ochem 2, because I started losing motivation. Because I didn't finish this, UCI said I couldnt major in bio, but perhaps in something else...I picked pharmaceutical science, since it's related to medical stuff.

I go to UCI, and my motivation to go to class and study doesn't pick up AT ALL. Because of this, I didn't go to class (I couldn't stand the commute) and unsurprisingly I got Ds and Fs (I did get one B in my physiology class, which i did attend, because I enjoyed it). Spring semester of this year, I dabbled in some English courses (because I enjoy reading), and I didn't like it, so I talked to my counselor and decided it'd be best that I withdrew my admission and take some time to decide what I really wanted to study (I moved out and decided to pay for my own schooling, so I wasn't obligated to pursue a medical career).

After half a year of school off and reflection, I am currently at another CC, retaking O-chem 1 (I really want to understand this stuff) and taking some psychology courses (the major I wanted to pursue after highschool, but was forbidden to). I realized that I really love psychology (particularly the units on communicative disorders) and I want to pursue a career in speech therapy.

I don't think I can TAG, because of my bad standing with UCI, but I was wondering if UCI, UCD, UCSB, CSULB, CSULA, CSUS, SFSU would accept me if I change my major to either psychology or linguistics? My preference would be UCD, Psychology B.S. (since I already have all those bio credits), but I don't know if they would take me since I messed up so badly. My second choice would be CSULB, but for some reason they are REALLY selective (I got into UCI, but not CSULB last time I applied).
