I messed up. I didn't send in the Common App until right now.

<p>Because I'm applying to 9 schools via the Common App, I sent most of them in at the same time. I sent in all the supplements, all the payments, and then I went to the submit page to submit the actual applications. Northwestern wasn't listed when I did the rest. So I submitted them all (except Northwestern, because it wasn't on the list) and received confirmation. I never checked to confirm Northwestern for some reason, because I assumed they received it. I'm an idiot. </p>

<p>I just happened to go onto my common app right now, to send in another app, and saw that the block next to NW was yellow. I HAD NEVER SENT IN MY MAIN APP!!!!</p>

<p>I'm applying to HPME. I have a feeling being this irresponsible will hurt my application. I can't believe I made such and idiotic mistake.</p>

<p>The reason it didn't show up on the submit page is because I never filled in the "Possible Occupation" field. So it was incomplete. I filled it in and sent it. 9 days late.</p>

<p>How much could this possibly affect me? How strict are they about deadlines? My HPME, Supplement, and Payment were all on time.</p>

<p>Call them, maybe they'll be nice about it. Btw, did you get any confimation email for HPME?</p>

<p>Contact the school. They received some of your application information before the deadline so I'm sure they won't ignore your application. As long as everything is complete in their file.</p>
