I really messed up my gpa but I’m hoping the rest of my application will make up for it.
Highschool junior, a senior in september
Unweighted gpa 2.8 (i got a D in biology this year)

2 honors classes 1st semester freshman year
All honors classes 2 semester freshman year
All honors classes sophomore year
All IB classes junior year
And I’ll be taking all IB classes this september (senior year) as well.

I can easily get a glowing recommendation from several teachers. Im hoping to do really well with my Biology teacher next year and get a recommendation from her especially.
The reason I messed up so bad was because there were a lot of family issues going on so homework became difficult to maintain. The majority of any low grades I have are because of low homework not actual low tests/quizzes/projects
