I missed a college deadline because of illness

Hello all,

I was supposed to schedule an interview at Wake Forest but I had a medical issue come up which really knocked me out of my sorts. Because of this, I was not able to sign up for an interview as planned… Wake takes these interviews very seriously and my interview could have a huge impact on admission. Do you think that they would be willing to consider doing a late interview under special circumstances? What is the best way to approach this? i also missed two other college application deadlines because of a surgery which put me out of commission for a while. I’m not too concerned about those schools but i’m more concerned about wake.

Contact admissions, explain the situation, and see if they will allow you to still schedule an interview. I don’t think anyone here can tell you more than that.

My son decided to apply ED and all interview slots were filled on website. We emailed the admission office and they happened to be in the process of setting up more Skype interviews, which he did this week. Worth a try if you have special circumstances.
